This art is called Tamo made in Pasto, Colombia but they represent masks that a group of Indians from the Putumayo tribe created as a way of protest against the Spanish power as they invaded Colombia hence the expression on the mask. Each one is unique so no two are the same. They are made from dark wood with a colourful ethnic design on the front.
